Several social media influencers, in cooperation with Qatar Charity, will organize the biggest live YouTube fundraising event named the ‘27th Night Challenge’ today (Monday) from 9 pm to 12 am. The event, which comes in conjunction with the 27th night of Ramadan, seeks to provide housing units to 10,000 internally displaced persons (IDPs) in northern Syria and Yemen within 3 hours. The drive will stream live from Al Hazm Mall.

Qatar Charity and the social media influencers (Abdulla AlGhafri, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Harami, and Mohamad Adnan) urged benefactors, both individuals and companies, to take advantage of the blessed 27th night of Ramadan through the link (https://www.qcharity.org/ComingCampaign-en.html) to donate and contribute to providing housing to the Syrian and Yemeni IDPs through Qatar Charity. Under this drive, the benefactors can provide the housing units in ‘Al Karamah’ city in northern Syria, which includes 1,680 safe housing units, and in ‘Al Khair Aat’ city, which consists of 3 cities, each of which includes 500 mobile apartments and comprehensive service facilities.

Qatar Charity thanked the social media influencers who launched the challenge as an unprecedented initiative to support humanitarian work and contribute to alleviating the suffering of the IDPs and providing a safe shelter that ensures their family privacy and preserves their human dignity,
