Is Zakah due on money allocated for charitable purposes?

Is Zakaah due on the third of the deceased's money if it is allocated to charitable purposes?

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad , is His slave and messenger.

If the questioner meant to ask whether Zakah is due on a third of the money of a deceased who bequeathed it to charitable purposes, then the answer is that no Zakah is due on such money because it is not owned by a certain person. It is the same as the money of charitable organizations on which no Zakah is due.
