Udhiya is one of the great rituals of Islam intended to get closer to Allah Almighty. Udhiya meat distribution is an opportunity that humanitarian organizations seize to draw smiles on faces of millions of people in need around the world, and bring the joy into the hearts of needy children and families. Happiness multiplies as we divide it with others. This could happen through supporting projects with the aim of spreading joy by giving to others, as per what Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said when asked about the best deeds: “The best of all deeds is that you bring happiness to a believer by satisfying their hunger, clothing them, or fulfilling their need.” Narrated by al-Tabarani

How Udhiya meat is distributed to the poor by charitable organizations
Charitable organizations in Qatar supervise meat distribution during Eid al-Adha days. This includes undertaking the process of slaughtering on behalf of the donors in the approved slaughterhouses, and providing Udhiya meat to thousands of needy people, low-income families, widows, orphans and farmworkers through giving them coupons for collecting it from slaughterhouses; in addition to supervising that in various poor countries, so as to ensure delivering it to hundreds of thousands of people in need, disasters or wars refugees and displaced persons.
