Doubtful about paying Zakah to husband with brother's money

I have, Masha Allah, a rich brother. Who gives Zakah every year I am the one responsible for distributing this money. My husband doesn't have work so we need money for paying the rent on our house. My brother doesn't help me because my husband and my brother never agrees I they quarrel, even though he knows our problem. I want to ask is it possible (Halal) for me to take money and pay for our house rent with out letting him know about it. I would like to let my brother know about it but I am quite sure that he will accept it. Please help me on this problem.

If your brother did not specify some people to whom the Zakah should be given, then you may give some of his Zakah to your husband without informing him (your brother).
But if he has specified the people to whom the Zakah should be given then you should give the Zakah to those people only.
