Qatar Charity provides a batch of aid to refugees in Jordan

Qatar Charity office in the Kingdom of Jordan launched a campaign to distribute vouchers to purchase food supplies and winter clothes to refugees in Jordan, to alleviate their humanitarian suffering due to their difficult living conditions, especially in the winter season. It is expected that 115,000 people will benefit from this aid.

This aid falls within the framework of the “one Heart” campaign launched by Qatar Charity to confront the dangers of winter and help groups in need, especially those affected by disasters and crises.

Mr. Saleh Al-Marri - General Supervisor of Qatar Charity’s office in Jordan said that the food vouchers being distributed to refugee families amount to 20,000 vouchers worth 900,000 Jordanian dinars, and it is expected that approximately 100,000 beneficiaries will benefit from them, while the number of winter clothing vouchers is 3,000 vouchers worth 135,000. Jordanian dinar and the number of beneficiaries is expected to reach 15,000 people in various governorates of the Kingdom.

Al-Marri added that he is continuing to supervise the preparation of winter aid for the year 2023/2024 in Jordan within the framework of implementing Qatar Charity’s “one Heart” campaign projects, which include blankets, heaters, heating fuel, winter clothing vouchers, and food parcels and vouchers due to the low temperatures. Significantly, to provide the basic needs of chaste families stand by them in these difficult times.
