As part of its Ramadan campaign "Giving Lives On", Qatar Charity, through its office in Bangladesh, distributed food parcels to needy families and sponsored orphans’ families, benefiting 13,405 individuals.

The aid was carefully prepared to meet the beneficiary families' needs for a full month and was distributed across several locations, including Qatar Charity's orphan care centers. The initiative aims to ensure families can prepare daily iftar meals throughout Ramadan.

Targeting the most vulnerable, including the elderly and sick, Qatar Charity’s teams made concerted efforts to deliver food parcels to families in remote and hard-to-reach areas.

The beneficiaries received their food parcels with deep gratitude, expressing heartfelt appreciation to the generous donors in Qatar.

Mr. Aminul Islam, a father of three from a rural area, shared his thoughts: "Receiving this aid during Ramadan has been a huge relief for my family. With the rising cost of living, feeding my children has become challenging. Qatar Charity's efforts have made this Ramadan much easier for us, and I am truly grateful for their timely support."

Another beneficiary, Muhsina Khatun, an elderly widow, expressed deep gratitude, "I never expected to receive such kindness, especially since I am too weak to travel for help. Qatar Charity’s team came to my home and delivered the food parcel right to my door. It brought tears to my eyes, knowing that there are people who care for us, even in our isolation."

Additionally, Rikta Begum, a mother of two orphans, expressed her heartfelt gratitude, "Since losing my husband, life has been incredibly difficult for me and my children. The food aid from Qatar Charity has been a tremendous blessing during Ramadan, allowing us to fast and break our fast with dignity, thanks to their support."

Qatar Charity continues to work in Bangladesh, especially in areas affected by poverty and hardship. Through its Ramadan Campaign, it aims not only to provide immediate relief but also to promote long-term well-being for the most vulnerable communities.

Qatar Charity's Bangladesh office is also gearing up to distribute Zakat al-Fitr to approximately 5,845 families, benefiting 29,225 individuals. In addition, Its Eid Clothing Project will provide over 500 orphans with Eid clothing, allowing them to choose outfits that suit their individual needs.

With the support of the people of Qatar, Qatar Charity's Ramadan campaign "Giving Lives On" aims to benefit 4.5 million people across 40 countries worldwide.
