With the generous support of philanthropists in Qatar, including individuals and commercial entities, Qatar Charity's (QC) "Giving Lives On" campaign for the 1446 AH / 2025 Ramadan, successfully reached over 4.5 million people in 40 countries, including Qatar. The campaign focused on those in need, internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees, and individuals affected by crises, with a special emphasis on Palestine, particularly the Gaza Strip.
During Ramadan, Qatar Charity’s seasonal aid, worth QR 166 million, benefited over two million people through the provision of food baskets, Iftar meals, Zakat al-Fitr, Eid clothing, and Eidi gifts. Meanwhile, its development projects, with a budget of QR 282 million, positively impacted the lives of 2.4 million people in the areas of shelter, water, mosques, and orphan care.
Within Qatar, Qatar Charity's Ramadan campaign benefited thousands of low-income individuals, workers, and families through diverse projects. These included mobile Iftar for workers in seven areas, 46 Ramadan tents, and projects like "Family Iftar," "Ramadan Supplies," and "Ramadan Gifts" for over 1,000 families. Qatar Charity also provided Eidi gifts to orphans, medical aid to 33 patients, educational support to 53 students, and monthly financial assistance to 112 families. Furthermore, the ‘Alaqraboon’ platform alleviated debtors' burdens with QR 12.2 million. It also implemented many other unique initiatives.
Outside Qatar, Qatar Charity reached 673,222 people through Ramadan projects such as "Feed the Fasting" and Zakat al-Fitr, and provided Eid clothing to 10,800 orphans. Notably, it organized a large-scale Iftar for over 7,000 IDPs in Gaza. Reflecting the deeply rooted spirit of generosity in Qatari society, donations during the “27th Night Challenge” totaled QR 220 million in support of Gaza and the reconstruction of Syria.
Qatar Charity expressed its sincere gratitude to the supporters of the ‘Giving Lives On’ campaign, including institutions, companies, media outlets, and individuals, in appreciation of their efforts in sponsoring, supporting, or facilitating the implementation of its Ramadan projects.
Prominent government supporters of Qatar Charity’s Ramadan campaign, “Giving Lives On,” included the Ministries of Interior, Endowments and Islamic Affairs, and Commerce and Industry, along with the Public Prosecution and Qatar University’s OType Youth Volunteer Team. Key banking partners were Qatar Islamic Bank, Commercial Bank, Al Ahli Bank, Doha Bank, and Dukhan Bank.
Qatar Charity's Ramadan campaign, "Giving Lives On," received support from a wide range of prominent companies and institutions. Key supporters included Qatar Airways, Al Abdulghani Motors, Protiviti Qatar, Fusion Group Holding, Snoonu, AECOM, Forvis Mazars, Vodafone, Talabat, Qatar General Insurance and Reinsurance Company (QGIRCO), Clyde & Co, Mitsubishi Motors Qatar, Qatar Rail, Mannai Trading Co., and Facility Management and Maintenance (FMM). The campaign also saw contributions from Qatar Stock Exchange, Zulal Wellness Resort by Chiva-Som, Nology Store, Oasis Cars Qatar, Bin Yousef Cargo, Doha Festival City, Hyatt Plaza, Deloitte, Lulu Hypermarket, Al Meera, Spar Qatar, Ansar Gallery, Ahli Bank Qatar, Ooredoo, Msheireb Properties HQ, Vendôme Mall, Qatar Mall, Geekay, Smox Restaurant, Ward Bouquet, Meltys, Al-Darwish Islamic Center, Al Shareef Holding, IKEA, Al Hattab Holding, Al Majid Jawad W.L.L (OLA), City Hypermarket, Juniors Restaurants, Dots Café and Bakery, Eleven Eleven Coffee, Canteen, Floward Qatar, Roland Berger Qatar, Aspire Katara Hospitality, Shineray, Kaiyi Qatar, Jetour Qatar, Harvest Café, and Cup of Joe Café.
