Many needy families, all around the globe, are suffering and struggling to meet their basic needs in order to survive, because they do not have the stable sources of the sufficient income. Qatar Charity strongly believes that poverty is more than ‘just a lack of money’. It is the lack of means, capabilities, and skills helping a person earn a living. For this, Qatar Charity launched the “Awen” ‘Help’, a humanitarian development initiative, to support the empowerment of needy and less privileged people by developing their skills and helping them implement innovative projects beneficial for them in their countries. Qatar Charity recognizes that its commitment to providing various humanitarian and relief aid to needy families around the world, remains sporadic, timely and tainted by many challenges as crisis continues, which requires to develop the performance in line with their humanitarian and psychological reality, through training them and providing them with job opportunities. This can be a proper and long-lasting solution.
