In cooperation with Ibn Khaldoun Preparatory School, QC’s Center for Society Development, Gharafa Al Rayyan branch, held an educational camp on World Mental Health Day for the center’s and some of the school’s students.

Throughout the camp, the students had the chance to participate in different athletic, cultural, educational, and entertaining activities. These activities were the practice of what they had already learned at the center.

Righteousness

Mr. Ashraf Al Arian, a Psychologist at Center of Consultation, delivered a lecture on the importance of keeping our mental health in good shape. He showed the students some presentations and films to elaborate his points.

Sheikh Othman Al Qaoud, the Preach of the Ministry of Endowment, delivered an educational lecture in which he spoke about the psychological issues from a religious point of view. He told the students how Islam took extra care of the soul and its righteousness and the students were very interactive with him.

Assessment of Achievement

Ali Al Gharib, QC’s Centers Director, said that through such camps, the students’ achievements can be assessed. It is the students’ attitude that shows how much the students had learned. The centers, as he mentioned, will continue to exert more efforts in order to best benefit the society.
