Under the theme "Change for Sustainability," Qatar Charity successfully concluded its 2025 Annual Forum for field Offices which took place over five days with the participation of numerous Qatar Charity officials, as well as directors and staff from the charity’s field offices around the globe. Currently, Qatar Charity operates 34 field offices and collaborates with over 500 regional partners across 70 countries worldwide.
Diverse Workshops and Expertise
The forum, which ran from February 9 to 13, 2025, featured 13 specialized workshops designed for more than 100 participants from Qatar Charity’s field offices. These workshops, led by a team of experts in various sectors, covered areas including governance, external relations, field office management, partnerships, development and humanitarian operations, monitoring and evaluation, identity and communication, as well as finance and information technology. The workshops aimed to enhance operational effectiveness at field offices, improve staff skills, and drive greater efficiency within humanitarian work.
Forum Goals
The annual forum serves as a vital platform to strengthen communication between Qatar Charity's field offices, facilitate the exchange of knowledge and best practices, and assess the overall performance of its global operations. Additionally, the forum seeks to address the challenges faced by field offices, develop the capabilities of their teams, and foster a sense of trust and commitment to humanitarian efforts.
Impact and Achievements
The forum received a warm reception from the directors of Qatar Charity’s field offices, who actively participated in the workshops and training activities. Mr. Hassan Awda, Director of Qatar Charity’s office in Ghana, highlighted the significance of the forum as an invaluable opportunity to discuss strategic issues that link the headquarters to field offices worldwide. The focus was on driving sustainable change in humanitarian work and expanding its impact on vulnerable communities.
Similarly, Mr. Mahmoud Abu Khalifa, Director of Qatar Charity’s office in Sri Lanka, emphasized the forum’s importance in promoting the exchange of experiences and improving the quality of humanitarian and charitable work. He noted that the programs and resources shared during the forum had a lasting impact on enhancing the performance and effectiveness of the field offices.

Through collaborations with more than 90 field partners across diverse regions, Qatar Charity has been able to implement a broad spectrum of humanitarian projects and programs.
