Qatar Charity (QC) continues its Ramadan campaign "Giving Lives On" by implementing its "Mobile Iftar for Workers" project, thanks to the generous support of donors in Qatar. This initiative provides Iftar meals to farm workers at their residences and workplaces across eight areas within Qatar.
From the first day of Ramadan until its end, the project has been providing 4,000 daily Iftar meals to farm workers. These meals are distributed in Al Shahaniya, Al Khurayb, Al Khor, Al Wakra, Simsimah, Al-Jumayliyah, and Abu Nakhla, as well as to workers at Ruwais Port. By the end of Ramadan, the project aims to have provided a total of 120,000 meals to these workers.
Qatar Charity distributes the Iftar meals directly to the workers' residences and workplaces. This action demonstrates the organization's dedication to strengthening social solidarity. The initiative also recognizes the valuable contributions these workers make to Qatar's infrastructure and other essential services. The project aims to ease the burden on workers by providing Iftar meals, saving them time and effort after a long day's work.
The workers who benefit from the project expressed their thanks, saying that Qatar Charity has been helping them for several years. They shared that the meals significantly reduce the difficulty of preparing Iftar and make them feel the kindness and support of the Qatari community.
Qatar Charity is still running its Ramadan campaign, "Giving Lives On," both in Qatar and abroad. During the last ten days of this blessed month, it encourages the generous people of Qatar to give, compete in good deeds, and support the projects of its campaign, which is being carried out in 40 countries, including Qatar.
