Qatar Charity implements charitable and development projects, including housing for the poor, digging wells, providing clean water, health, education, and fighting poverty, in additionly to relief projects during disasters and crises.
A private project is a project that the donor chooses to fully self-fund either by installments or paying the full amount at once.
You can do so through Qatar Charity's website or mobile application. You can also approach the nearest collector to you or head to one of our branches to choose the project of your preference.
You will receive a report of your project via your email. You will also get constant updates on the progress phases of your project. You may reach out to any collector, branch of Qatar Charity, or call our Donor Services Center on 44290000 to get your project's report.

You can name your project by any name of your preferance as long as it does not violate our code of ethics and morals. A signage will be installed next to the project with your chosen name on it.
Yes, this can be done by choosing a project from the contribution-based projects category. You can create a contribution-based project and help funding it with friends and family. You can also create the project via Reward initiative by paying 10% of its total value and then listing it for the community to fund the rest of the costs. Qatar Charity executes the projects only if 80% of their costs have been funded and covered and projects are not completed until they are fully funded.
Each project differs in timelines according to the size of it and other logistics related to it. You can find the spicific timeline and details for each project on its spicified page.
The project implementation period may exceed the period that is agreed on due to: Delay obtaining licenses and financial transfer approvals from the competent authorities inside Qatar. Delay obtaining a license for implementation from the competent authorities in the country of implementation. Difficult conditions (natural factors - wars - disasters etc...)

The reason for the rise of projects costs in some countries is due to: •The necessity of following the quality specifications of the confirmed projects from governement agencies in the country of implementation •The Rising cost of basic commodities and materials, due to importing from aboard •Waves and factors of global inflation
According to Qatar Charity's donation policy, the implementation of the project will not start unless 80% of the project cost is paid.
This is possible if: if the implementation of the project fails in the implemented country as a result of major forces or other factors. Alternative projects are presented in a different country in the event that the implementation of the project fails in the country specified for implementation.
The project activity can be changed in two cases: untransferrable project funds to the country of implementation. Failure to implement the project in the specified country as a result of major forces or other factors.
This is adhered to by the agencies receiving projects in the country of implementation (specialized technical ministries - local authorities - local municipalities) according to binding agreements.
The donor can visit the projects sites after its completion after coordinating with Qatar Charity, and the donor will be accountable for his travel and accommodation costs.
Yes, you can fund the project by installments for a period the does not exceed 12 months. The minimum amount to start your project with is 20% of the total project cost. Qatar Charity does not proceed with the execution of the project until 80% of its cost is paid.
The donor can create a project from the available projects, and make it available to others to contribute to its completion by whatever amount they decide.
Yes, you can contribute to any project available through the (contribution-based projects page) by choosing the value you wish to donate to the project of your choice.
You can view the currently available projects through the (Projects page) in the application, and choose the field of project of your desire from the listed feilds: education and culture, mosques, health, water and sanitation, economic empowerment, and social housing.
The donor receives: Periodic reports of the all phases of the project. Final reports of the project when completed. Progress reports.
