Makers of Happiness: Daily Competition in Doing Good

Qatar Charity (QC) launched the "Makers of Happiness" initiative, which is a daily competition in the field of charity and one of the forms of giving that will continues throughout the holy month of Ramadan. The donation to the initiative includes various charitable and humanitarian fields, providing an opportunity to increase the rewards and benefit those in need.

The idea of the initiative is to identify a particular area for charity for one day. An interested person can choose a field in which he wants to give charity daily in an easy way.

An amount of QR25 has been fixed, aiming at allowing donors to continue this good deed, as the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, says “ the most beloved deed to Allah is the most regular and constant even if it is little.”

Projects of Initiative

The initiative includes a number of projects implemented by Qatar Charity such as orphan sponsorship, patient treatment, Iftar, culture, education, economic empowerment, building mosques and Quran learning centers, water and wells, home repairing, and food baskets, in addition to Eid clothing, gifts for orphans, and feeding poor, Soqya (giving water to workers).

These projects will benefit persons in debt, families of prisoners, families in need, divorced women, widows, the elderly, and persons with special needs.
