Qatar Charity inaugurates multi-service center in Kyrgyzstan
Qatar Charity (QC), with the support of the benefactors in Qatar, inaugurated a multi-service center in the Chuy Region of Kyrgyzstan, in the presence of the Kyrgyz Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Ravshan Sabirov and Qatar’s Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Mr. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Sulaiti, in addition to other officials and local dignitaries.
The Deputy Prime Minister thanked Qatar, its people, and Qatar Charity for extending assistance to the needy and contributing to improving social services in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The ambassador explained that this strategic project comes within the framework of strengthening relations between the two friendly countries, and aims to alleviate the suffering of the families of orphans and poor families, so that they can lead a dignified life.
The center aims to provide integrated community services to the marginalized and vulnerable, including the families of orphans and poor families, to uplift their standards of living. It also aims to improve the levels of public health and achieve development in areas suffering from a lack of basic services.
The center targets more than 18,000 people from the families of orphans and residents of the surrounding area. It comprises a school, a health center, a mosque, in addition to a source of water and heating. The center’s estimated cost is QR 900,000.
Qatar Charity (QC) carried out the groundbreaking for the multi-service Al Rayyan Charitable Centre project in the Naryn Region of the Kyrgyz Republic in October 2020.
The multi-service center will include 30 housing units, a school and kindergarten, a health center, a mosque, and a sewing workshop. The center’s estimated cost is more than QR5.2mn, and it targets more than 18,000 people from the families of orphans and residents of the surrounding area.
