Qatar Charity holds an Iftar banquet for female students who live in the university housing

Within the framework of caring for students of knowledge during the holy month, Qatar Charity held a collective Iftar for female students living in its university housing.

This initiative was welcomed by the students, who were pleased with this humanitarian gesture that contributes to strengthening social ties and cooperation in this month. Iftar was followed by an educational faith lecture by a specialist in sociology, then speeches by the participating students, and it concluded with the performance of Tarawih prayers.

the students thanked the good people and Qatar Charity for organizing this Ramadan table, which added a beautiful atmosphere in the student housing provided by Qatar Charity for them in caring for them and developing their academic and practical abilities.

In this context, the student Zarina Tokic (International University of Sarajevo) said: "We are grateful to the good people in Qatar and Qatar Charity, which gave us the opportunity to study in the greatest universities of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Living in this residence gave us various skills thanks to the lectures and seminars provided, and it also provided us with the support we need to enhance our education help our country into the future".

As for the student, Sumayya Rijic (University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Philosophy, Arabic Language Department), she said: "There are not enough words to express my gratitude for what the residence provides, starting with free accommodation, food, education and training, in order to provide us with the knowledge and experience that makes us more efficient in the labor market. Thanks to the generous donors from the people of Qatar, whom we consider as role models for us, and we hope to follow in their footsteps in the future.”

Female student housing

Currently, 100 students live in the female student housing provided by Qatar Charity. Four years ago, more than 300 female students from needy families and orphan female students, who have achieved great success in education, have benefited from its services.

The female students' dormitory provides two meals a day throughout the year, in addition to heating, electricity, and the Internet. They also have computers, a gym, a mosque, and kitchens.
