I do not see the Ramadan atmosphere with my own eyes, but I feel it with my soul. My heart was filled with thanks to Allah that Qatar Charity did not forget me even in this holy month.

The food package that Qatar Charity gave me is important, not because it provides me with the food items to break my fast in Ramadan, but because it made me feel the warmth of the brotherhood of the Qatari people. Even though they don't know me, they support me for the sake of Allah.

This is the most beautiful feeling conveyed to me by this holy month, and the nicest message of solidarity I received during it. May Allah reward the donors.

These are the words said by Sadiq Gilly, a blind man from Albania who lives with his wife, after receiving a Ramadan food kit from Qatar Charity's office in the capital, Tirana, as part of Qatar Charity’s ‘Ramadan: Leave Your Mark’ campaign.

As blindness has made Sadiq’s life difficult, Qatar Charity sponsors him and provides him with monthly assistance as part of its social care efforts for the disable under its ‘Rafaqa’ initiative.

Sadiq’s words highlighted the impact of charity, which goes beyond financial and in-kind support to the psychological impact.

It is worth mentioning that on the first day of Ramadan, Qatar Charity's office in Albania distributed 720 food packages in Tirana to the families of orphans, poor families, and the disabled. Each food package is sufficient for a month. Qatar Charity’s office also distributed 200 packages in Durres and 120 packages in another city. In total, 1050 food packages were distributed to 4000 beneficiaries in Ramadan.
