The Prime Minister of Kosovo praises a training center for Qatar Charity

Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, honored 13 students from Qatar Charity’s Qatar Training Center on their winning distinguished positions in the International Science, Technology and Mathematics “STEM” Olympiad, which was held in Paris.

The honor was made during the visit of the Kosovar Prime Minister to the center’s headquarters in the capital, Pristina, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Abdulaziz El sehli, Charge d’Affairs of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Albania and Kosovo, Mr. Nawaf Al-Hammadi, Assistant CEO of the Operations and International Development Sector at Qatar Charity, and Mr.Taulant Rizvanolli, Deputy Minister of Education of Kosovo. , and Mr. Benjamin Chen, Academic Director of the STEM Foundation

The Qatar Training Center, affiliated with Qatar Charity, is the official representative of the State of Kosovo in the International Olympiad for Science, Technology, and Mathematics (STEM). The Center’s students have won 13 medals (six gold medals, four silver medals, and three bronze medals), as Kosovo is among the top countries in the world Obtaining medals.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, praised the qualitative excellence of the students participating in the Olympics, stressed his support for them, and urged them to continue developing their potential. He also praised the efforts of the Qatar Training Center that it made to get its students to the podium in this international competition, and he also expressed his thanks and gratitude to Qatar and its great support for education and development in Kosovo.

Mr. Nawaf Al Hammadi, Assistant CEO of the Operations and International Development Sector at Qatar Charity expressed his great happiness at the excellence of the students of the Qatar Training Center in international competitions, as they deserved to be honored by Qatar Charity and government agencies in Kosovo, and he promised to support the development of their capabilities in cooperation with the institutions concerned with the State of Kosovo. He thanked the Kosovar Prime Minister for his visit to the Qatar Training Center and honoring the outstanding students.

For his part, His Excellency Mr. Abdul Aziz El sehli, Charge d'Affairs of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Albania and Kosovo, stressed the State of Qatar's keenness to strengthen the bonds of constructive cooperation between the States of Qatar and Kosovo, noting that "we will work hard to continue providing support for such efforts, especially Qatar's distinguished charitable projects in Education Field.

The Qatar Training Center is considered one of the distinguished centers in the fields of education and training in the fields of languages, information technology, and management, and it is the agent and representative of Kosovo in the International STEM Olympiad competition.

The center was opened ten years ago and has qualified more than 5,500 trainees in the fields of languages, information technology, management, and development.

It is worth noting that Qatar Charity has been working in Kosovo for more than 23 years in full cooperation and coordination with the relevant authorities in the country in various fields, including social care, where it sponsors more than 3,500 sponsored persons and develops capabilities through the Qatar Training Center in addition to implementing projects in the fields of health, education, water, and economic empowerment and relief.
