Urgent relief interventions by Qatar Charity in the Gaza Strip

in cooperation with its partners from international organizations and within the framework of its “For Palestine” campaign Qatar Charity continues to distribute urgent relief aid like food supply, shelter, non-food items, comprehensive relief, health, water, and sanitation, as the number of beneficiaries of this aid is expected to reach 286,800 thousand people.

What has been distributed in the field of food supply has reached 100,000 hot meals and 7,500 food baskets so far, benefiting 137,500 people.

Qatar Charity is currently continuing to implement its assistance in shelter and non-food items, as it aims to provide shelter supplies for 8,000 beneficiaries. This assistance includes tents, blankets, and covers.

In cooperation with UNRWA, Qatar Charity is currently helping with food, water, non-food items, and the health sector to 40,000 people.

Qatar Charity also aims to provide medicines, medical supplies, and hospital fuel for 50,000 people. The aid under implementation also includes personal hygiene bags that are expected to benefit 12,500 people.

These interventions by Qatar Charity come within the framework of carrying out its humanitarian duty with the aim of alleviating the suffering of those affected in the Gaza Strip and meeting their basic humanitarian needs considering a major shortage of food, shelter, and health services. It also plans to implement these interventions during the coming period.
