Qatar Charity equips the media center for the Islamic sheikhdom in Bosnia

To continue implementing its qualitative cultural and development programs, a delegation from Qatar Charity’s office in Bosnia and Herzegovina, consisting of the general supervisor of the office, Mr. Hassan Muhammad Al-Nuaimi, and the director of the office, Mr. Muhammad Omar Oushan, presented a donation to the chief scholar, Dr. Hussein Kavazovic, the head of the highest religious authority in Bosnia, aims to equip the media center of the Islamic Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to spread moderate religious awareness, the tolerance of the teachings of the Islamic religion, and preserving the cultural identity of Muslims in Bosnia and its neighboring countries and communities in other countries.

Latest equipment

Under this donation, the media center will be equipped with the latest modern media equipment and devices that serve the purposeful media message, through the production of television programs, the establishment of a radio station, and a printed newspaper, in addition to supporting multiple interactive platforms via the Internet.

This media center targets Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina and neighboring countries such as Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, and Montenegro, as well as the Bosnian community in several countries such as Europe, America, and Australia, as it works to broadcast programs in several fields such as religion, advocacy, education, and learning, as well as economics, science, culture, history, and heritage.

The media center is expected to have a positive impact on all Muslim residents of the region, by facilitating access to moderate Islamic content and correct faith education, in addition to providing entertainment and cultural programs.

The media center, with its various media and platforms, was established to be a link between the Islamic sheikhdom in Bosnia and Herzegovina and society, where the sheikhdom works to provide the correct interpretation of Islamic rulings and their applications through direct communication with the public.

A qualitative donation

On this occasion, Dr. Hussein Kavazovic, Chief Scholar of Bosnia, and Herzegovina, thanked the Qatar Charity delegation for this valuable qualitative donation, which enriches Qatar Charity’s balance in providing permanent support and assistance to the projects of the Islamic sheikhdom.

The cultural and awareness projects of the Islamic sheikhdom in Bosnia are gaining great importance.

Due to its positive impact on raising awareness and preserving Islamic identity through purposeful and sober awareness programs that highlight the tolerance of Islam and the possibility of its coexistence with different races and cultures in peace and harmony.

It is worth noting that Qatar Charity has completed many qualitative projects in Bosnia, most notably the “Orphan Care and Rehabilitation Center” project, which was implemented with a generous donation from His Highness Prince Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani in the Bosnian capital, Sarajevo. Qatar Charity will work during the period Coming to support several areas such as sponsorships and sustainable development, in addition to projects of public benefit, education, reconstruction, and health.
