Qatar Charity organizes a training program for its sponsored orphans

With the aim of creating awareness about public safety, confronting health risks, and fighting fires, Qatar Charity organized a training program in the field of safety and security for students, teachers and sponsored employees in various orphan care centers in Bangladesh. The training courses were provided by specialists in the field of civil defense.

These training courses were well received by students who expressed their gratitude to Qatar Charity. In this context, Shuhan Babu, one of the Orphan Students Sponsored by Qatar Charity, said: “I benefited from this course a lot. We learned how to put out fires and perform first aid. Thank you to Qatar Charity for providing us with this opportunity.” "

For his part, Amir Hamza said: “This was the first time I trained to put out fires in a practical way. I benefited a lot.”

It is worth noting that Bangladesh witnesses several fires annually, due to poor application of safety rules, as firefighting and civil defense statistics indicate the outbreak of no less than 27,624 fires, which led to the death of more than 100 people and the injury of more than 200 last year alone, and official sources indicate that 2,884 people died due to fires. QC’s initiative for orphans
As a part of its Social Welfare Project, currently, Qatar Charity is sponsoring 4668 orphans in Bangladesh initiative sharply contributes to expanding the scope of children’s education as it is their basic right. 
To provide academic and residential facilities for orphan children, QC operates 13 orphanages in Bangladesh which are in Dhaka, Bhairab, Bagerhat, Rangpur, Kustia, Gafargaon, Lalmonirhat, Sylhet, Comilla, Naoga, Barisal, and Rajshahi districts. 
these orphanages have various services for the physical and mental development of the children. These centers have playgrounds, computer training facilities, and round-the-clock health care services.
 Each center has the required number of teachers and staff, who take care of the children for their improvement.
