As part of its continued support for education and its campaign to support educational projects in 25 countries around the world, launched under the slogan "Their Education is a Priority", the new academic year began at Al Fajr School, affiliated with Qatar Charity, in Tirana the Albanian capital, amidst a festive atmosphere attended by parents and students.

This educational project aims to consolidate values, principles and ethics, promote positive behaviors and prevent school dropout for orphans and children of needy families through educational, awareness and cultural activities.

A Model School

Al Fajr School is a model school that combines cognitive and moral behavioral advancement, with its distinctive educational environment and teaching structure consisting of 36 male and female teachers. The school teaches the curriculum of the Republic of Albania, and Arabic has been added as an official language at the school this year.

The school has gained a good reputation and the trust of parents, which has doubled the rate of enrollment, bringing the number of students registered in it this year 2024-2025 to more than 400 male and female students. Various services

The school is equipped with the latest technologies and modern educational tools (smart screens - computer halls - science laboratories (physics - chemistry - biology).

It provides its free services to orphans and children of Palestinian families who left Gaza, as well as children of Syrian and Sudanese families and other Arab nationalities residing there. 30 female students graduate from the school annually (secondary school girls only). Last year, 220 female students graduated and joined the university either inside or outside Albania.

It is worth noting that Qatar Charity, since the opening of its office in the Albanian capital Tirana in 1994, has been working in many fields such as social care, where it sponsors approximately 6,000 sponsored people, including orphans, people with special needs, needy families and students, where it provides them with monthly sponsorship, seasonal and annual assistance. In the field of education, it also has a cultural training center that provides its distinguished services in the field of computer training and various languages.
