Qatar Charity has signed a partnership agreement with the Aman Fund for Orphans in Jordan (a charity established by Queen Rania Al Abdullah). Under this agreement, the education of 18 students benefiting from the fund will be supported. The signing took place in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani, the Qatari Ambassador to Jordan, Mr. Saleh Al Marri, the general supervisor of Qatar Charity’s office in Jordan, and Ms. Noor Al Hammoud, the General Director of the Aman Fund for Orphans.

This collaboration is part of Qatar Charity’s ongoing efforts in its social responsibility in Jordan, including providing educational opportunities for low-income students, especially orphans, empowering them to build a better future.

Comprehensive Support
This collaboration includes covering the educational expenses of orphan students, such as university tuition, living support, including accommodation and monthly allowances, as well as programs for capacity building and mental health. Eighteen students will benefit from this support, distributed across various areas of the capital, Amman, and northern Jordan, studying diverse fields such as business administration, physical and health education, management information systems, and radio and television, among others, at public and private universities.

Serving Humanitarian Issues
On this occasion, His Excellency Ambassador Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani stated, “Our Qatari humanitarian institutions strive through their continuous support for charitable humanitarian work in Jordan to strengthen the ties in our mutual brotherly relations. Today, Qatar Charity’s support for the Aman Fund for Orphans in educating 18 students is an opportunity to empower orphans to lead their futures, reflecting the capabilities of Jordanian institutions in presenting an exemplary model for utilizing their competencies and capabilities for the benefit of the nation.”

For his part, Mr. Saleh Al Marri, the general supervisor of Qatar Charity’s office in Jordan, mentioned, “Qatar Charity seeks to enhance cooperation with trustworthy and impactful Jordanian charitable organizations to unify efforts in serving humanitarian issues.

The Aman Fund for Orphans has exemplified this, as we have granted scholarships to 18 students from the fund, believing in the importance of the mission and its impact in empowering orphan students to achieve their academic aspirations and goals.”

Meanwhile, Ms. Noor Al Hammoud, the General Director of the Aman Fund for Orphans, praised this collaboration, saying, “Qatar Charity’s contribution to support the Aman Fund represents a model of humanitarian and charitable work in Jordan. Their commitment to outcomes linked to success stories for these young people has inspired us and strengthened our relationship with them.

The visits of Qatari students to the fund to learn about our role in community development in Jordan demonstrate Qatar Charity's belief in the necessity of highlighting the impact of our institution in investing in the lives of our orphan youth and how the provided grant will enable them to continue their educational journey.”
