Qatar Charity (QC), led by its CEO, Mr. Yousuf bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, participated in the 22nd Doha Forum 2024 under the theme of ‘The Innovation Imperative’. The organization's participation featured high-level meetings with prominent figures and representatives of significant global organizations, a panel discussion with leading experts, strategic agreements with UN agencies, international organizations, and specialized international companies, and a dedicated booth highlighting Qatar Charity's impactful partnerships with UN agencies and academic institutions.

Mr. Yousuf bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, CEO of Qatar Charity, attended the opening session of the Doha Forum 2024, graciously inaugurated yesterday by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, with the participation of a number of Their Excellencies, heads of state, heads of governments, and regional and international organizations.

On the sidelines of the Doha Forum 2024, Qatar Charity signed cooperation agreements with several international entities, including the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Adam Smith International (ASI), a global advisory company, the Middle East Council on Global Affairs (ME Council), and the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies (CHS).

As part of its participation in the Doha Forum 2024, Qatar Charity held bilateral meetings with international organizations and entities, including the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), and Adam Smith International (ASI).  Qatar Charity’s delegation also met with H.E. Rosemary DiCarlo Under-Secretary-General, Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, Mr. Gilles Cerutti, Head of the Humanitarian Diplomacy Section, Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, Switzerland, and H.E. Muhammad Ali Pate Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Nigeria.

Qatar Charity is set to organize a closed-door roundtable titled “Humanitarian Engagement with Non-State Armed Groups” on the second day of the forum in collaboration with the Middle East Council on Global Affairs (ME Council). The session will feature a distinguished group of experts in the fields of humanitarian work, global affairs, and human rights, along with representatives from government entities worldwide.

Qatar Charity's booth at the Doha Forum 2024 showcases its dedication to providing humanitarian and development support to vulnerable communities across 41 countries in Asia, Africa, and Europe, through its 32 field offices and over 50 partners.  The booth highlights Qatar Charity's partnerships with UN agencies and international organizations, totaling 130 agreements. It also showcases the organization's humanitarian and developmental initiatives, emphasizing its vision and strategic approach to global operations.

This year’s Doha Forum, taking place over two days, focuses on fostering essential dialogue around global challenges, from technology governance to peacebuilding. It emphasizes the power of collaboration in creating solutions that promote positive change and drive global transformation.
