As part of its ongoing urgent humanitarian efforts, Qatar Charity has sent a large convoy consisting of 85 trucks, valued at 12 million Qatari riyals, within the Winter and Reviving Hope campaigns. The convoy departed from Gaziantep, Turkey, heading toward the most in-need areas in northern Syria.

The convoys carry essential relief materials aimed at supporting those affected inside Syria and Turkey, with part of the aid designated for those impacted in Turkey. The goal of this convoy is to provide food, heating, and urgent winter needs for tens of thousands of people enduring harsh humanitarian conditions.

The convoy includes 500 tons of flour for bread production, 25,000 food baskets, and basic supplies to ensure food security for affected families. It also contains 700 non-food baskets, 2,400 winter clothing kits to help children cope with the extreme cold, and 2,000 tons of coal for heating. Additionally, there are 456 stoves to provide warmth in camps and needy homes.

Ongoing Commitment On this occasion, Mr. Khalid Al-Yafai, Director of Donor Relations at Qatar Charity, stated: "This convoy is part of Qatar Charity’s continuous commitment to providing urgent humanitarian aid. It reflects our support for the affected people in both Syria and Turkey, helping them face the severe winter conditions and difficult living circumstances. We continue our work to meet the basic needs of the affected families, and we encourage philanthropists to support these efforts to ensure aid reaches as many people as possible."

It is worth noting that this convoy is part of Qatar Charity’s humanitarian efforts that have been ongoing for more than 13 years, benefiting millions of displaced Syrians both inside Syria and in neighboring countries. Qatar Charity continues to implement its relief and development projects to ensure a dignified life and a more stable future for those affected.
