In cooperation with other Qatari students’ clubs in Britain, QC’s club “Qemam” organized a number of developmental workshops that from which more than 80 students benefited.

These workshops came as part of the club’s interest in developing the skills and reinforcing the morals of Qatari students in British universities. The workshops were held in Cardiff, Liverpool, and Coventry.

Khaled Abu Moza, the Muslim preacher,   delivered 3 developmental workshops entitled “Success at the Time of Luxury”. He discussed the concepts of success in life, and how the students should determine their main goals in order to manage their lives effectively. He also spoke about the greatest achievements that the youth should keep in mind. The workshops dealt with the four axes of heart, mind, body, and money.

In relation to the heart, Abu Moza focused on faith, love, and hobbies; explaining how one’s hobbies should not dominate the other aspects in order to keep the heart in balance.

He mentioned that the body axis included sleep, food, and movement. He emphasized how keeping these aspects in balance would ensure a healthy body hence a healthy brain capable of creativity and innovation.

Regarding the money axis, Abu Moza explained how money is earned through one’s profession. In order for the employee to keep his/her job, they need to be honest and efficient. They should also work hard to continuously enhance their work through developing their skills. He added that the heart was the control center and it affects all other three axes.
