Qatar Charity launches ‘Bring Me Back to School’ campaign

Qatar Charity (QC) launched its "Bring me Back to School" campaign to support children’s education as one of their basic rights and to prevent the school drop-out phenomenon.

The campaign coincided with the start of the new school year, aiming to meet the school needs and expenses of the children, especially primary school students belonging to poor, needy and low-income families,

The campaign will target 3,000 students. As a first stage, school fees and transportation, bag, stationery and book expenses will be covered for 1,500 students for a whole year.

"Bring me Back to School" campaign, which will continue until the end of the school year, focuses on raising funds to pay the tuition fees of the children belonging to poor and low-income families. The education cost of 1,500 children for a whole academic year is intended as a first stage.

Qatar Charity urged people in Qatar to support this campaign and make donations to pay for children’s educational materials such as student books, uniforms, footwear, school fees and other school supplies. 

Donors can contribute to the campaign (Bring me Back to School) by directly making donations at Qatar Charity's headquarters, its 26 branches and 92 collection points located in commercial complexes within the country. Also, people can easily donate to the campaign through QC’s website (https://www.qcharity.org)  and App (qch.qa/q/app).

Mobile donating is also available via Ooredoo and Vodafone. To donate QR 1,000, QR 500, QR 100, and QR 50, send (QAEY) to 92429, 92428, 92642, and 92632 respectively.
